Oregon Junior Olympic Travel Itinerary

Oregon Junior Olympic Championships Itinerary

Thursday – Sunday, June 21 – 24

IT IS GOING TO BE HOT!

Drink lots of water every day this week. Bring plenty of gear to help yourself stay cool.

Bring lots of food, snacks, water, sports drinks to have throughout the day. There may be long breaks between events some days and some athletes will finish their events way earlier than others, so you need to be prepared to stay cool and be able to eat and stay entertained throughout the day.

Anyone riding with coaches will meet in the PHS parking lot 15 minutes before departure time for each day. If you are riding with parents, we will meet you at the track.

Coach Ben will have your competition numbers and all the information you will need each day of competition at the meet.

It will be a lot of traveling. Bring pillows and blankets for the car ride and try to get some sleep while we drive to and from Portland.

Plenty of rest will be critical this week.

Traveling to and from Portland will be much more cost effective for each athlete and for Coach Ben and the club as well. It is not ideal, but will save everybody a lot of money.

There will be a lot of good competition this weekend so don’t forget to bring your A GAME!
